Honorable Use Of The Advantage

If there is one mark of wisdom it is ‘right use of the advantage’, that is, neither using advantage for personal gain nor not for personal gain, or another way of putting it, using your advantage for the benefit of all, including yourself.

Your approach to and sense of having ‘the advantage’ in any area or realm of experience can be the difference between a prison and paradise, how you use advantage can sound the bells of liberation or the alarms of hurry, fear, and excessive control.

Your choice, and it is all in the approach you take.

In the end, we can create and fashion this world as we choose, and it will reflect back to us what we have intended of it, the saving grace is, whatever talent, skill, or advantage we have developed in life can be in service of liberation, without our losing any of our advantage, gift, skill, or uniqueness.

Each position, each stance has some kind of advantage, and these collectively can either be set upon each other as a kind of battle that never rests, or as the structure of a sound useable structure that is settled, and so long as we realize what it is, impermanent forms passing through life, and what it is for, to benefit the freedom of all, then we are naturally in the way of ‘right use of advantage’ whatever position we find ourselves in.

Even the ‘small pioneering entity’ compared to the large establishment has many advantages, so long as the ideas of struggle, battle, and any form of inner our outward violence is released and settled, especially the subtle ingrained and inherited unrest of our culture and dominant life approach…

It is valuable to really look at the context of our own culture, comb through its threads, appreciate its virtues and forgive its inherent weaknesses and deviations from ultimate possibility, none is a nation of saints yet, each has its marvels and terrors!

In our daily affairs, this does not mean passions have to be subdued, control relinquished, or the warrior spirit dampened, the masculine power is wholly necessary to our progress, just not in its contemporary expression of ‘mamby pamby’ false gentility and covert excessive aggressive flaring up, honor it for what it is, one aspect of the creative whole, and redirect the more misaligned expressions gradually to a more whole and beneficial end.

In the end each position, regardless of your limited judgment, has vast potential, has good motive, worthwhile impetus, and perfect context within the whole picture, in each one of us there is a tendency, there is aim, and there is the energy rising to meet the occasion we set out to complete, and when it is wholly done the energy dissipates and there is peace…

While the energy is there it is, and so it is foolish to ignore or discount it, to put it off, so ride it, surf it, get in the flow with it, just as it is, with awareness you become the transformation and refinement of it, which is your ultimate purpose however the surface events play out…

This is universal, it is how creation happens, the question is can we come to recognize and work with this cycle, respect it, and neither be overwhelmed or overly stirred by it, but ride the waves of it, dare I say master it?

I thoroughly believe there is a primary impetus moving through all things, a universal energy, and how we read and relate to this energy is KEY to the future and well being of humanity…

This is not some far fetched exaggerated vision or mission, but plain and simple fact of what we are and how we manifest, and what this current form gives rise to internally and externally…

How we read these waves of energy that are bringing the impetus of change and development through us all, is PRIMARY to the kind of world we NOW create…

For instance, if we read the volatile and lively energy as a call or push to violence, rather than a powerful opportunity for change and transformation of raw basic energies to more refined potentials, without habits of repression nor restricting ANY of the juice, then this can mark the difference between warfare and dance, between argument and passionate exchange, between rivalry and honorable respect of difference…

The basic energy never changes, the means, channels, and instruments of expression are in constant change, and have already written in them the potential for future paths and tracks of transformation, everything that is in a state of limitation already has scribed within it the seeds of its journey to limitless expression, this is clean and obvious for anyone who cares to notice the simple truth of creation and forms inherent story…

So none have more advantage than another, only different advantages, this is how the game of life is made possible, and when those many advantages come together as one, recognizing oneness and uniqueness, we do not have some homogenous undefined blob, but a multifaceted jewel of endless creative possibilities!

So fear not, you will not disappear or dissipate into obscurity and nothingness through use and expression of your unique advantage, quite the opposite, you will add to the healthy structural components of life’s unfolding…
